• Port Sunlight Museum & Garden Village
  We are an independent charitable trust responsible for preserving and promoting the model village of Port Sunlight, created by William Hesketh Lever for his Sunlight soap factory workers in 1888.
• Shore Road Pumping Station
  The home of the ‘Giant Grasshopper’ engine, a working example of the giant steam pumps built in the 1870’s
• Charles Dawson Brown Museum
  The museum was founded in 1892 in memory of a noted local benefactor, Charles Dawson Brown, who was a Liverpool cotton broker and lived in Stone Hive on Darmonds Green in West Kirby till his death in 1890.
• Fort Perch Rock
  Fort Perch Rock is a coastal defence battery built between 1825 and 1829. It was built to protect the Port of Liverpool and as a fortified lighthouse to replace the old Perch Rock Light. It was originally built on an area known as Black Rock and was cut off at high tide, but now coastal reclamation has made it fully accessible. It is currently open as a museum.
